What is AyurVeda? The Science of Life

The Dance of Samanya and Vishesha

To restore balance, you'd want to introduce opposite qualities like cooling foods and activities such as cucumbers and meditation. Conversely, you'd avoid spicy foods and stress because they contribute similar qualities to the imbalance, which would further aggravate the fire.
